Cookie Policy
Ops Systems Lab LLC • Effective and last updated July 16, 2026
This Site is hosted by Squarespace. Necessary technologies support security and core functions; analytics and performance cookies should remain restricted until the visitor consents through the cookie banner
1. Scope
This Cookie Policy explains how Ops Systems Lab LLC (“OSL,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) and service providers use cookies and similar technologies on opssystemslab.com (the “Site”). It should be read with the Privacy Policy. The exact technologies present can vary with Site features, visitor choices, browser settings, and changes made by Squarespace or an enabled integration.
2. What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small data files stored by a website or service on a browser or device. Local storage and session storage are browser technologies that can store similar information. These technologies can keep the Site secure, remember choices, prevent repeated displays, support embedded media, and measure how the Site is used.
3. Categories used on the Site
| Category | Purpose | Consent approach |
|---|---|---|
| Necessary | Operate, route, protect, and secure the Site; remember cookie choices; and support features requested by the visitor. | Used as needed for core functionality. These technologies cannot always be disabled through the Site’s cookie banner. |
| Analytics and performance | Estimate visits and unique visitors, understand traffic sources and sessions, and improve Site content. | Restricted until consent when the Squarespace cookie banner is configured as described in this Policy. |
| Functional / embedded media | Remember video preferences or load a requested third-party feature. | May depend on the feature and provider. The provider may offer its own consent method. |
| Marketing | Measure or personalize advertising across services. | OSL does not currently intend to use marketing or advertising cookies. |
4. Squarespace necessary technologies
Squarespace states that necessary technologies vary based on the features enabled. The following are the principal necessary or preference technologies relevant to the current Site structure or planned demo content. A technology may not appear on every visit.

5. Squarespace analytics and performance cookies
If enabled and accepted, Squarespace uses the following analytics and performance cookies to identify unique visitors and track sessions for Site analytics:
6. Embedded media and third parties
The Site may display demo video or other content supplied by [[Embedded video provider, if any]]. Loading or interacting with that content may allow the provider to receive your IP address, browser/device information, cookie identifiers, referring page, and interaction data and may allow the provider to place its own cookies or storage technologies. The provider’s privacy and cookie terms control its independent use. Before publication, OSL must list the actual embedded provider here and link its privacy/cookie policy: [[Provider policy URL]].
Squarespace’s banner can restrict some connected third-party technologies but may not block every custom script or integration. OSL should not enable a new analytics, advertising, chat, scheduling, mapping, or embedded-media provider until its technologies are inventoried and this Policy and the consent configuration are updated.
7. How to manage choices
Cookie banner — use Accept all, Decline all, or Manage cookies when those options appear.
Change preferences — use the cookie-preferences control in the Site’s sub footer or cookie-settings pill to revisit a choice.
Browser controls — block or delete cookies through browser settings. Blocking necessary cookies may cause Site features to malfunction.
Third-party controls — use settings provided by the embedded or third-party service where applicable.
Clearing cookies or using a different browser or device may reset a choice and cause the banner to appear again. Squarespace states that its consent-preference cookies generally last 30 days.
8. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
Browsers may send Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signals. Technical standards and legal duties vary. OSL does not currently sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. Where applicable law requires a recognized signal to be honored, OSL will treat it as required. Cookie choices should still be managed through the Site control where available.
9. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy when the Site, provider list, cookie configuration, or law changes. The current version will state a new last-updated date. Because Squarespace may change cookie names, purposes, or durations, OSL should compare this list with Squarespace’s current documentation and a live browser scan during each material Site change and at least annually.
